The Fairies are a group of winged people who take on very specific jobs to help the world move along.

If a fairy changes their specific job, they must prove that they are doing the other specific job well-enough to have their name changed to whatever their new occupation is.

A job like the Tooth Fairy is an entry-level position in Fairy society.

The Fairies originate from the country of the Magical Kingdom of Nikpan. They are spread out all over the world, but the largest concentration still remains in Nikpan.

They are able to impregnate each other fairly easily, which is why their population keeps high.

Depending on their preference or if there is another fairy that does the same job as they do, they can be named "Fairy," "Faery," "Fairie," "the Fay," and others.
